FAQ

Which subtitle formats are supported?

SRT and WebVTT (.vtt). Formatting tags are ignored and your chosen style is applied.

Will the video lose quality?

Burning text requires re-encoding, so there is a small, usually invisible, loss. Videos above 1080p are scaled to 1080p to keep processing fast.

My subtitles are out of sync. What can I do?

The SRT must match that exact cut of the video. If you don't have a good one, click “Generate captions” and AI will create new ones synced to the audio.
